In July 2006 Israel invaded Lebanon and occupied the whole of the country and bombed it badley. During the Israeli occupation which lasted a whole month many people were rounded up by Israeli solders and taken away to prisons in Israel,where they were forcibly injected with drugs and others had medical experiments performed on them.Israel invaded Lebanon because it said that Hezbollah milita kidnapped two Israeli solders,but that was not true. Hezbollah said that the two Israeli solders had crossed the south Lebanon border into Lebanon and that was why they were taken prisoner. But it is likley that the Israeli government was just looking for an excuse to invade Lebanon and that it had been planning this for some time anyway.Many media call this invasion a war between Hezbollah and Israel,but this was not so.

Israel invaded Lebanon with the assistance of the Lebanese government who is involved with the Israeli government. Also when Israel invaded Lebanon,the Lebanese government and Lebanese army did nothing to stop it,they just stood by and let it happen. The aim of Israel and the Lebanese government was to try to take out Hezbollah. Israel attacked Hezbollah's bases and Hezbollah milita had no choice but to defend themselves and the civillians Israel was also attacking and abducting away to Israeli jails.It is true that most people killed and missing were civillians,but others were also milita and Hezbollah milita. But as well as people being killed by the bombing,many were rounded up and taken to Israeli prisons where they were forcibly injected with drugs that damage the mind and body an eventually cause death. In August 2006,Israel pulled out of Lebanon and the country was badley bombed but quickly rebuilt by the Lebanese government. But the people who were taken from Lebanon during the invasion by Israel are still missing and have not been returned by Israel,they are still in Israeli jails.

After the 2006 invasion,there were several street riots caused by Lebanese civillians who were unhappy with the government.Since the invasion more Lebanese civillians are owning guns to protect themselves from both the Lebanese government and the Israelis. Lebanese law does not allow civillians or milita's to carry guns and this includes Hezbollah milita who are not exempt from this law. Only police and the Lebanese army can carry and own guns,but despite this more civillians are owning guns to protect themselves and their families. Also Hezbollah milita men keep guns in their homes for the same reasons,but they cannot carry them openly in public. The Lebanese government is involved with Israel and Israeli agents and solders frequently go into Lebanon and raid homes and take people away to prisons in Israel. In June 2009 the same government was elected again and since that time there has been tight security on Lebanon's streets. Police and the Lebanese army patroll the streets of all major cities and this is causing tension among civillians and also milita's including Hezbollah.

Since the 2006 invasion apart from the street riots,the crime rate in Lebanon is also increasing.The 2006 invasion has not helped things at all in Lebanon,it has just made people there more afraid and distrusting of the Lebanese government. See Hezbollah milita-click here.
